Of Umbrian origins it is the knife that was used until the middle of the 19th century by everyone for daily functions, in the countryside, at the table or for defense. It is traditionally made in a single piece of ox horn using only the finest part, the tip or alternatively of olive; this type of processing allows the steel to be reduced as much as possible to obtain a light and very stable knife. Only with the great skill of Fabio and Alessandro of "The Artisan of Scarperia" can be born unique and elegant knives resistant for all uses but also JEWELS to collect and store with care.
The knife depicted has been selected and made for us <Antica Cuoieria dal 1826> and embellished by the mark on the blade "COLTELLO ARTIGIANALE MONTEPULCIANO" synonymous with quality and uniqueness
